Magical memories are beautiful hand made objects, made from fabric and haberdashery that have a special meaning. This could be clothing from a family member that is no longer with you or something that had a special meaning such as baby clothing, graduation wear, children's favorite outfit or just a piece of fabric that evokes happy memories. Each item is made out of one or several pieces of fabric and will be unique to you and your own magical memory.
The beauty in magical memories is that each item has a unique meaning just to you and will be a keepsake that will always be there to bring back happy memories of a person or time in your life. Jooles Crafts will work closely with you to help choose suitable cloth or haberdashery and will return your keepsake with any unused materials.
There are plenty of standard keepsakes to choose from or you may wish to special commission one that is important to you and Jooles Crafts will be happy to provide a quotation. These are not made as toys, but beautifully hand crafted keepsakes that will become a family heirloom.
Step 1 - Select your materials you would like the keep sake made out of, usually at least three but no more that six fabrics. Most fabrics are suitable and any colour combination that you choose. Jooles Crafts will discuss which fabric for which keepsake panel and if haberdashery can be used.

Greg's story: Greg's mum is no longer with him and had a life long love of making clothing and crafting in general. Greg commissioned Jooles Crafts to make five donkeys made from numerous pieces of cloth from his mum’s extensive cloth stock including buttons and scarves. Each one is made with different material, buttons and colours. The plan is to present one to his children when a grandchild is born, not as a toy but as a unique keepsake for the parents to remember the birth and to be kept as a family heirloom memory of their great grandma. Greg is expecting a few grandchildren and has kept one for himself.
Greg said, "A chance conversation with Jooles (Jooles Crafts) led to this happening. My mum was, like Jooles, very talented in all sorts of crafts and had made my three children similar toys. To be able to use her material in such a fantastic way has been very emotional, and in a very good way, for my family. The first donkey was a surprise Christmas present for my grand daughter and was hugely well received by everyone as a superb family memory. I know there will be future similar first Christmas presents. Jooles made such a great job in the design using all the varied details that I decided it would be best to have a suitable batch made up before everyone else discovers what an amazing idea it is. Jooles even made one for me with a specially embroidered message to help me remember my mum by which is very special (and I’m not easily moved to tears). Jooles managed the whole project with incredible skill, sensitivity and respect. I am absolutely delighted by what Jooles made for me and my family"
